Everyone knows the baseball team is rolling and their success as districts heat up this week starting Monday for the boys in, er, white? After getting a first round bye, the 21-1 Dragons will take on North Platte in the semi-finals before a possible District Title game looming against the winner of West Platte and Lone Jack. The state ranked Mid-Buchanan will play on Monday at West Platte at 5:00 pm weather permitting.
Basketball boys competing on the varsity baseball team this year are Ryan Carpenter, Austin Budine, Cody Kirschner, Braydn Kemper, Noah McClanahan and Hunter Lawhon. Meanwhile, in Track, Tyler Boller and Hunter Scaggs were basketball players who advanced on to the state meet in jumping while Jackson Rumpf finished just half a second shy of making it himself in the hurdles. Further, the girls saw success as Bailey Gilbert broke the class 2 record in Triple Jump in route to a state birth and Gracie Livengood will also join here in Jeff City. Good luck to all of our spring sport teams as they finish the school year off strong! |
